Shishka was adopted in 2014

in Lviv, and had an eventful life so far - she lived in mountains, spent 5 years in occupied Crimea, and finally moved

with us to Italy in 2022 escaping the full scale invasion of Ukraine. Trough all of it she remained optimistic, following her main passions: eating and seeking attention.

In the beginning of July 2026 Shishka was diagnosed with lymphoma

At the moment with help

of our crowdfunding we already:

Run the necessary tests to find out the type of lymphoma (B or T), and how widely it spreads - you can see reports from July 8th;

Finished 1st (out of 4) round of CHOP protocol - treatments on 15th, 21st and 29th of July

We still need 425 EUR every 3 weeks for chemotherapy (it’s 12 weeks in total)

It’s impossible to fully get rid of lymphoma, but by continuing with treatment we can give Shishka as much happy time as we can if we find money

Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us cover her medical expenses and make decisions based on what is best for her rather than what we can afford.

At the moment Shishka is as good as possible considering the circumstances. Our dottoressa is very happy with blood count and results of echocardiography.

Shishka lost 3 kg, but she was prepared for it by being slightly chubby in past years.

Good thing is bone marrow tests are clean, so cancer did not spread there.

Her liver is, however, a bit damaged. Her enlarged before lymph nodes are currently significantly smaller.
